Specialized diagnosis of learning disorders
Dysgraphia and Dyslexia Assessment is a specialized speech and language evaluation designed to identify the causes of reading and writing difficulties in children. During the assessment, the speech-language therapist evaluates the development of key learning skills, including phonemic awareness, phonemic analysis and synthesis, visuospatial gnosis, and the presence of visual (optical) errors, all of which can affect the learning process.
Based on the assessment results, parents receive a detailed report explaining the causes of the child’s difficulties, along with personalized recommendations for further corrective intervention.
What does the assessment include?
- Assessment of phonemic awareness development.
- Evaluation of phonemic analysis and synthesis skills.
- Assessment of visuospatial gnosis.
- Identification of visual (optical) and specific reading and writing errors.
- Evaluation of reading skills (letters, syllables, words, sentences, and text).
- Analysis of reading accuracy, speed, and comprehension.
- Assessment of writing skills (copying, dictation, and independent writing).
- Analysis of error patterns and the underlying mechanisms causing them.
