A child is not born with an established speech. Gradually, step by step, he or she learns to pronounce sounds correctly and clearly, to link words together, to build sentences, to express his or her thoughts clearly and consistently. But, unfortunately, sometimes speech development is late. In today’s metropolis every third child under 3-3.5 years of age does not speak or speaks single words. In professional language, this sounds like a speech delay (ZRD) or psycho-speech delay (PSD). Psychological, neurological and organic disorders can interfere with the natural development of the ability to speak.
According to modern research, at an early age, a child’s brain is able to learn their native language much faster.
