When and why is it recommended to take the CASD test?
In autism, children have a complex disintegrated disorder of mental development, manifested by marked problems in communication and social interaction, repetitive behaviours and restricted interests.
The challenges in the early detection of autism spectrum disorders are acute for doctors, parents and educators. Various systems and tests are being developed for this purpose.
The CASD test is one of the methods for rapid and accurate detection of ASD. Its principle is based on many years of observation and systematisation of data obtained in patients with autism. It also includes the observations of parents and teachers, monitored and systematised by doctors.
The CASD test systematises all symptoms. It can be administered by neurologists, psychologists or psychiatrists who have experience working with these children. CASD helps to identify the likelihood of ASD, and the results of which become the basis for further differential psycho-educational diagnosis.
