Bioacoustic correction is a modern method of treatment aimed at correcting a person’s psycho-emotional state. The method is based on conversion of electroencephalogram (EEG) signals into oscillations of the acoustic range, which allows the patient to perceive the electrical activity of the brain in real time. Bioacoustic correction is a method of sensory EEG-dependent neurofeedback therapy that activates the body’s self-regulation mechanisms. A distinctive feature of the BAC method is the involuntary self-regulation of the functional state of the central nervous system, which makes its application possible for disorders of the emotional-volitional and cognitive spheres of mental activity, as well as does not impose restrictions on the age of the patient. Particularly vivid results are observed in children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, mental developmental delays, and speech activity disorders. A distinctive feature of BAK is that the result is stipulated not just in words, but also visible on the EEG, as each session is recorded, and there is an opportunity for the specialist to trace what was at the beginning of the course, and at its end.
The course lasts from 7 to 15 days, from 15 to 20 minutes, depending on the severity of the diagnosis. The procedure is carried out under the supervision of a specialist, the duration of the course and the selection of the programme is chosen after a preliminary consultation.
